A blog.
Slowly. Steadily. But, surely.
I am elated to be here! But, I am more delighted that you are here.
Who is it that said, “Don’t compare your chapter one with someone else’s chapter 20?” This is my first chapter. Let’s all believe, “Imperfection is perfection”.
I have yearned for an audience in which to write. My desire is strong but my literary knees are weak. But, here I am giving it a go. I am a retired woman of routine with morning devotionals and daily journaling. In my life experiences as a wife to a Christian man nearing 40 years and a mother of three adult children and seven grandchildren, my pilgrimage has taken me on a spiritual quest to want to learn, grow, and share discoveries great and small that have been of value in my Christian walk.
Before the blog, journaling sustained me. I can’t say I’m a writer, but I do write. My eyes, ears, and heart are open to new discoveries that often times reveal something great to me. Still, there are others that are no less important and small nuggets of truth are made known. They encourage me to write. It’s how I process life around me.
For fun, I play pickleball, garden, and engage with my neighborhood church. I write about that, too.
Slowly. Steadily. But, surely.
